Managed Forex Accounts From Peak Forex

From the Fund Manager
I wanted to take a moment to thank you personally for your interest in our firm, and at the same time offer a few words of caution before you proceed in your search for a management firm.
The forex market is a high risk endeavor and is one that should not be entered into lightly and without due diligence. That risk is only further heightened by the ever increasing number of new websites promising phenomenal gains. All too often we hear the horror stories from the victims of these companies.
A good rule of thumb is that if it sounds too good to be true...it probably is. The vast majority of what you will find as the performance for many of these firms are backtested results. For those that aren't familiar with that term (as we have found many of those that have fallen victim to it were not), it simply means that the results were never actually achieved. These come from mechanically designed trading systems that can easily be created or purchased for charting software on dozens of internet sites. Essentially, the firm has merely taken a set of criteria that would trigger a trade, plugged it into a charting program and generated a hypothetical set of results. The criteria for the trading system is tweaked until the past history looks good...and with the click of a button...you now have wonderful looking backtested results.
Please don't misunderstand, I'm in no way trying to discourage you from opening a managed account in the forex market...much the opposite in fact. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to earn your business...and your trust. However, I urge you to do your due diligence. Check out the company that you are going to have manage your money, talk to the fund manager personally, find out about their trading and risk management, and ask for account statements (however, bear in mind when asking for account statements that past performance is no guarantee of future performance).
I welcome the opportunity to speak with you personally, provide all the information above, and answer any questions that you may have about our firm and our managed accounts. Please feel free to contact me anytime by phone or email. I look forward to working with you and wish you the very best of success.

*Trading foreign exchange on margin carries
a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all
investors. The high degree of leverage can work against
you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in
foreign exchange you should carefully consider your
investment objectives, level of experience, and risk
appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain
a loss of some or all of your initial investment and
therefore you should not invest money that you cannot
afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks
associated with foreign exchange trading, and seek advice
from an independent financial advisor if you have any
doubts.
